We recommend Alpe d’Huez, Tignes and Serre Chevalier for an all encompassing alpine active holiday. Read on to find out more about the activities.

Rafting
We have worked with recommended rafting companies year after year in our resorts. The rafting centres often takes place in the valley and can sometimes take 40 mins to travel to the river. However in Serre Chevalier, the river runs right past the hotel and is a great base to start your rafting experience.

Mountain Biking
As the sport of mountain biking increases, so do the number of trails available in the French Alps! Alpe d’Huez has a variety of trails and is known as one of the best places to go mountain biking.  There are rides for all levels. Equally Tignes and Serre Chevalier provide fantastic trails and great variety from downhill routes to cross country woodland trails and not to forget the bike parks.

Walking and hiking
If you are looking to take in peaks and walking trails, we work with the Bureau de Guides to accompany our guests when a guide is requested. Many of the resorts offer fantastic walking for all levels, from valley walks to glacier trekking. Serre Chevalier is well known for its walking routes, however please enquire if you would like to incorporate walking or trekking in the other resorts.

Lake sailing
Lac Serre Poncon is a 40 mins from Serre Chevalier and offers a fantastic water sports programme including sailing, wind surfing, kayaking and catamaran sailing. Le Lac in Tignes offers doorstep water sports in an awe inspiring high altitude location.

Summer Skiing
Our Clubhotel Curling, is located in Val Claret 5 mins walk from the funicular that take you up to the Glacier. Open throughout the summer, you can walk from you hotel and within half an hour be standing at 3444m above sea level and skiing on a sunny August morning.
 
Activities for kids!

There are many activities on offer for children to take part in activities all day and all week long. There is summer luging, archery, swimming and much more to keep children in a safe and learning environment.
