La Plagne

La Plagne is one of the most famous and exciting high altitude ski areas in the world. Linked to les Arcs by the Vanoise Express lift, the ‘Paradiski’ area offers 425kms of pistes.  La Plagne comprises 10 ski centres and the ClubHotel Turquoise is situated in  Belle Plagne (2050m) and is arguably the most popular.

Skiing and Snowboarding

The extensive network of pistes in La Plagne alone is enough to allow you to explore a new variety of slopes virtually everyday. Excellent nursery areas are to be found in each of the main villages whilst for intermediates La Plagne has long open pistes and winding runs down to the lower resorts. For advanced skiers, there are some daring black runs leading down from the Glacier de Bellecôte.

For Snowboarders there are also 4 superb snowparks in the area.

Apres Ski

The nightlife in La Plagne is almost as exhausting as its mountain activities. With a huge range of restaurants, bars and cafes to keep you well fed and watered, there really is something to suit everyone. Popular bars include the Loup Blanc and La Mine Bar, whilst for those looking for a late night the two main clubs are The Saloon in Belle Plagne and The Cosy Bar in Bellecote.
