Skiing and Snowboarding
Excellent ski schools, good nursery slopes in Le Lac and Lavachet and plenty of wide-open terrain on the glacier make for quick progression for beginners.

For intermediates, an unbeatable selection of blues and reds can be reached by taking the Funicular up from Val Claret to the glacier. The resort is nevertheless custom designed for advanced skiers, offering high mileage and a great choice of reds and world-class blacks.

Tignes is also home to Europe’s largest snowpark, situated in Val Claret.
