Les Menuires Ski Resort

Skiing and snowboarding areas

Now operating under the “Snow Guaranteed” label, this purpose-built resort, Les Menuires’ high altitude (1800m at base) not only provides far-reaching panoramic views, including that of Mont Blanc, but outstanding snow throughout the season supported by 411 snow cannons.

The ski school meeting point is in the main Croisette of Les Menuires, located directly outside the Clubhotel Skilt. From here, beginners will be able to see the lower nursery slopes where they can gradually build upon the basics. With a great range of slopes for beginners to progress to, it won’t be long before they swap the wide open green runs for the easier blues from the Becca chairlift. More advanced skiers will appreciate the variety of interconnecting blue and red runs across Les Menuires as well as some testing black runs.

There are lift pass options available depending on whether you wish to keep to Les Menuires or venture off to the 600km of piste in the Three Valleys. With Méribel, Courchevel, Val Thorens and the rest of the Trois Vallées on your doorstep, the variety of slopes available is absolutely superb.

Relate more with the Dalai Lama than Disco Stu? No problem, with plenty of alternative options to a wild night Les Menuires has relaxation wrapped up.

There are two health centres in the quarter of les Bruyères, featuring hamman saunas, regular saunas and sunbeds. A sports a well-being centre also finds its home in Les Menuires. There are a number of shops in and around the Croisette mainly featuring sports or fashion boutiques. The cinema and bowling alley is a short distance away in Val Thorens or head out for a snowshoe outing taking in the beauty of the Alps.
