Forming part of the prestigious Three Valleys ski area, the region stands as the world’s largest ski region and offers skiers of all abilities access to a great range of slopes.
Skiing and snowboarding areas
Now operating under the “Snow Guaranteed” label, this purpose-built resort, Les Menuires’ high altitude (1800m at base) not only provides far-reaching panoramic views, including that of Mont Blanc, but outstanding snow throughout the season supported by 411 snow cannons.
The ski school meeting point is in the main Croisette of Les Menuires, located directly outside the Clubhotel Skilt. From here, beginners will be able to see the lower nursery slopes where they can gradually build upon the basics. With a great range of slopes for beginners to progress to, it won’t be long before they swap the wide-open green runs for the easier blues from the Becca chairlift. More advanced skiers will appreciate the variety of interconnecting blue and red runs across Les Menuires as well as some testing black runs.
There are lift pass options available depending on whether you wish to keep to Les Menuires or venture off to the 600km of piste in the Three Valleys. With Méribel, Courchevel, Val Thorens and the rest of the Trois Vallées on your doorstep, the variety of slopes available is absolutely superb.

When you’re staying in Les Menuires, you’re never far from the action. The resort itself is well-designed with good restaurants and bars both in the resort and on the slopes. Nightlife can be lively with a host of bars and discos in close proximity to one another.

There are two health centres in the quarter of les Bruyères, featuring hammam saunas, regular saunas and sunbeds. A sports and well-being centre also finds its home in Les Menuires. There are a number of shops in and around La Croisette, mainly featuring sports or fashion boutiques. The cinema and bowling alley are a short distance away in Val Thorens, or head out for a snowshoe outing taking in the beauty of the Alps.
